About CASA

All the proceeds from CASA Golf Classic go directly to charity with the organisers volunteering their time.

Caring and Sharing Association (CASA) is a registered charity that aims is to develop friendships and provide respite and social outlets for people with disabilities.

It is unique in that the charity works with and supports people with all disabilities – physical, sensory and intellectual – of all ages and from all backgrounds.

Your fundraising today will help provide the following services:

Social activities

CASA Social groups provide weekly and monthly social activities in our network of over 20 branches nationwide. These include big group events with music and dancing, and smaller activities which include bowling, cinema trips and shopping. The aim of these groups is to provide the opportunity for socialising, friendship and support.

Respite breaks

CASA offers year round respite breaks in our Breakhouse in Malahide. It offers respite care to people with a disability, in an atmosphere where each individual is valued and respected. While providing respite for family carers, we also provide quality breaks for the person with a disability. This is achieved in a warm, supportive and family like atmosphere where members and volunteers partake in day-to-day activities and social outings together. In 2013 we provided quality respite breaks for 240 people.

Pilgrimage to Lourdes

CASA organises a Pilgrimage to Lourdes every year. Each trip caters for approx. 130 people, not only CASA members but we also liaise with hospitals and hospices to identify people with life limiting conditions that may wish to travel to Lourdes.
